Hard to believe tomorrow is May. Our winter was so mild and the warm weather (and pollen) moved in extremely early this year. It was almost like we had only 2 seasons this year, summer and spring.

With the start of May comes the return of Small Groups at church (the Church at Chapel Hill). We have hosted and lead a group for the past 1 1/2 years. We meet 3 months and then take a 1 month hiatus (April, August, and December). We love our small group and we look forward to starting back up. In addition to small group, Cheryl is involved in a Mommy Connection ministry. It's a ministry to connect mothers with small children. They meet about once a month for an event or get-together. They are heading to the Atlanta Zoo tomorrow. Hopefully I have some pictures and stories.

We got our lawnmower back after 3 1/2 weeks in the shop. I was finally able to mow my lawn...which my neighbors greatly appreciate.

May also marks the end of the school year. This has great significance as this improves the Atlanta rush hour traffic. Obviously, you wouldn't understand unless you drive in it everyday.
