Memorial Day Weekend

A big thanks for all of those that have served and are serving in our Armed Forces. Their sacrifices are appreciated.

It was an uneventful weekend. It all started on Friday night with small group. The food was Italian themed and the discussion was about recognizing the authority God puts in our lives. It was a great time of fellowship and discussion.

Saturday was extremely laid back. We had a small group leader meeting in the early afternoon. We stopped by Toy's R' Us after the meeting to finish up Abby's birthday shopping. We then briefly walked the mall.

Sunday was the norm. We attended the 9:00am service and then went to lunch at Moe's with friends. We ran some errands before heading home for naps. After naps we headed back out to the mall where I got a 10 minute massage. We got some ice cream from Ben and Jerry's.

Monday was uneventful as well. I got out early to mow, edge and weed whack. Cheryl and Abby headed out shortly thereafter for some grocery shopping. Uncle Nathan came up from Columbus for a visit and we had dinner. After Uncle Nathan left we took a wagon ride with the kids. Abby is still wearing her helmet from riding her bike (she wanted to wear it).
