Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day, July 4th, Fourth of July, ID4, etc. It's great to live in a country of freedom, opportunity and prosperity. Yesterday was a great day to reflect back on all of those whose energy, effort and lives were (and are) spent for this countries freedoms.

A couple of interesting facts about Independence Day:
1. In a remarkable series of coincidences, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson , two founding fathers of the U.S., and the only two men who signed the Declaration of Independence to become President died on the same day: July 4, 1826 , which was the United States’ 50th anniversary. President James Monroe died exactly five years later, on July 4, 1831, though he did not sign the Declaration of Independence.
2. Fireworks have been associated with the Fourth of July since 1777.
