So, as some of you may know (and as our blog links indicate) our family has been working the Dave Ramsey system (Financial Peace University) to eliminate our debt. We have made great strides over the past 18 months of working the process and we have definitely adjusted our habits. The most drastic step took place today. Earlier today we drove our mini-van to CarMax and sold it. We're gonna miss the passenger space, the hauling space and the DVD player. We're not gonna miss the monthly car payment, the poor gas mileage, or the pricey gas fill-ups. As a result of this move, Cheryl will begin driving the midsize (L Series) Saturn and I will drive our third car an S Series Saturn. The kids like the newness, but the lack of a DVD player has not sunk in yet.
Below are some last pictures of the van and some pictures of the kids in the car that will now be our primary family car.
Unfortunately, the maroon Saturn has 242,000 miles driven mostly with my butt in the drivers seat. So it would be an understatement to say that the seat has contoured to my shape. We bought this car new back in late 1999 and it has been a great purchase.

Although I'd only riden in you once you will be missed. The time we had together on the way to Moe's was truly "UNFORGETTABLE". Rest In Peace
